Towards a Hybrid, Flexible and Socially Engaged Higher Education

26th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning and 52nd IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy (ICL2023) took place in Madrid on 26-29 September 2023. Jaanus Pöial made a presentation „Using telepresence robots for ICT consultancy“, the first author of which was Janika Leoste, and on the cover photo you can see both of them guarding the conference banner.

This interdisciplinary conference focuses on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences in Interactive Collaborative Learning and Engineering Pedagogy. The president of IGIP is Tiia Rüütmann, head of the Taltech Engineering Education Center. Publications by nearly six hundred authors were presented at the conference, Estonia was represented by about twenty scientists. The key issue of the conference was ChatGPT and using AI in different teaching and learning situations.
